Implants ALL on 4 and ALL on 6

All On 4 and All On 6 are effective solutions for all the people who have lost a significant number of teeth. Both treatments involve surgically placed dental implants in the jaw and they are placed immediately. These implants are used to support fixed or removable dentures and to maintain the structure of the entire jaw.

The All-on-4 treatment provides a fixed full-arch prosthesis for the patient in one day. All on 4 implants need minimal or no bone grafting or other surgical procedures. They can be placed in a single treatment which means you get your teeth-in-one-day. This is a minimally invasive procedure that offers an immediate permanent solution.

Removable prothesis can cause all sorts of problems to ones that choose this type of solution, even on the psychological level. Another significant problem that occures is the loss of the bone during the time. In order to find a solution for this problem, different tehniques like All on 4 were developed even in cases with small ammount of bone mass.

This way we can meet the needs of the patients which do not want to contionue to wear a mobile prosthesis or want to fix their problem and in short time risolve the problem completely.

The All-on-4 treatment is a cost-efficient, graftless solution which provides a fixed full-arch prosthesis for a patient in one day, for the upper jaw and the lower jaw, based on only four implants.

The goal of the ALL ON 6 implant system is to completely rebuild a dental arch. In this way the patient regains the functionality and aesthetics of a healthy mouth and rediscovers the state of psycho-physical well-being, essential for health and a good social life.
Special implants were developed for this treatment allowing the immediate fitting of replacement teeth to the abutments. This means that with only 4-6 implants, patients can leave the dental office with a full set of teeth within only one appointment.
The teeth are permanent and fixed so there is no need for a temporary dentures. The patient can come for a morning appointment and leave the same afternoon with a brand new smile. It is a perfect solution for all the people without teeth.

After the accurate examination of the radiography and the dental panoramic of the patient, 6 dental implants in titanium (All on 6), are placed in a dental arch in the positions chosen by the dentist. This type of intervention is used on patients completely without teeth.

If the bone condition and the general health conditions of the patient allow it, we can proceed with immediate temporary prosthesis. The fixed prosthesis is positioned (screwed) on dental implants and we have to wait a certain period for the final prosthesis. If we can’t put the temporary prosthesis and fixate it to the implants, the patient will receive a mobile temporary prosthesis that will be replaced with the definitive one after the osseointegration period (from 3 to 6 months).

After the process of the osseointegration, on the implants will be placed the permanent prothesis called the TORONTO BRIDGE.

Difference between All On 4 and All On 6

The difference between the two solutions is the number of placed implants. The dentist uses the ALL ON 4 solution when the bone conditions do not alow the insertion of a greater number of implants. Both ALL ON 4 and ALL ON 6 are absolutely stable systems and represent an important enhancement in oral dentistry.

In fact, we have to say that in addition to the two solutions above and most used, the number of implants may vary . In fact, it is also possible to have 5, 7 or 8 implants, depending on the individual possibilities and the initial radiological diagnosis.
