Istruzioni pre operatorie per pazienti prima di operazioni chirurgiche dentali

Pre-operative instructions for patients

Before we start with the therapy, we ask our patients to read carefully the pre-operative instructions inicated below. Each surgery carries a certain risk to the health of the patient. For a safe operation with expected results you are obliged to follow the doctor’s instructions.

  • It is very important to fill the Health Questionnaire with the right information in order to set dental diagnosis and suitable therapy.
  • Another important thing is the consent signed by the patient. It will not be possible to proceed with the treatment and surgery without it. For optimal therapy results, we advise smokers not to smoke 2-3 days before surgery and at least 7-10 days after the surgery.

  • If you use adhesives to fix your prosthesis, do not use them on the day of operation and remove the remaining adhesive residues from your mouth.

  • Before any intervention the patient should eat.
  • Patients should enter the surgical room clean, without any traces of makeup and lightly dressed for greater comfort.
